Information on DSA Defensive Driving Courses for drivers who
are charged with driving offences.
Driver Skills Australia (DSA) deliver Defensive Driver Training courses that provide valuable information
about driving safely that is recognised by most court systems in Australia.
If you have been charged with reckless or drink driving we strongly suggest obtaining legal advice on the best way
to move forward and prepare for your court apperance.
The Victorian and Queensland system do recognise DSA Defensive Driving courses as providing drivers wtih the
essential information and training to become safer drivers and often send drivers to our Defensive Driving
Courses.
DSA are passionate about creating safer drivers and will require you to meet standards set out in the nationally
recognised unit TLIC3607A Apply Safe Driving Behaviours. Information on this can be found elsewhere on this site or
by contacting DSA directly.
We encourage all drivers to be safe and mindful of the fact we share the roads with many friends and family and
avoid drink driving and reckless driving at all costs - however if you have found yourself on the wrong side of the
law - treat it as an opportunity to make a difference and become a respoonsible road user in the future.
Please contact DSA if you have any questions - however we are not lawyers and therefor strongly advise you seek
legal advice first.
