INTRODUCTION

Nursing Innovations has been manufacturing the Keep-Dri Dressings product range since 1989. These patented products are now extensively used in over 70% of Western Australian hospitals. In 1995 Keep-Dri Dressings won a silver medal in the medical category at the International Inventions Exhibition in Geneva.
 

Keep-Dri Dressings are the wound dressing protectors that really work. They substantially reduce wound care costs directly by decreasing the cost of shower protection and corresponding dressing changes but more importantly they minimise hospital stays and associated expenses.

Hospital trials have shown that the usual leakage rate of shower dressing protectors used by their staff is up to 70%. The result is usually a required change of wet dressings (in many cases expensive dressings) disrupting the wound healing process, risking waterborne and airborne infection while wasting both nursing time and money.
